Job Title: CashierJob Summary:We are seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the checkouts, accurately recording customer transactions, and maintaining the security of cash at all times.Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service at the checkouts, ensuring that customer service is the first priority
• Accurately record customer transactions on POS systems
• Verify and bag sold merchandise following NWC bagging procedures
• Practicequot;stop, drop, and serve quot; principles at all times to enhance customer service
• Answer customer questions or concerns quickly and professionally
• Follow all laws and procedures related to selling tobacco and controlled products
• Process credit purchases, refunds, and exchanges as per NWC guidelines
• Understand and follow the scanning code of practice
• Check for concealed merchandise when scanning purchases
• Maintain security of cash at all times
• Be accountable for all register opening and closing activities

Requirements:

• No education or experience required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Good communication and teamwork skills
