We serve nine Alberta communities – Westlock, Legal, St. Albert, Morinville, Clyde, Jarvie, Bon Accord, Redwater, and Gibbons.Homeland Housing is recruiting a full-time an experienced Activity Coordinator to implement seniors’ group programs and activities to add quality of life and wellness. This is a challenging position that requires a high-energy individual who is self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. These activities are created to allow seniors to socialize in a supportive and meaningful environment while cultivating new relationships amongst themselves and others.Qualifications: · Experience in coordinating, leading, or delegating individualized and group recreational programs and events in a community or a continuing care setting is required.· Post-secondary education in a Recreational field, with knowledge and understanding of the aging process is preferred.
