Job Description

Your Opportunity:The Administrative Support V (AS V) position is a key member of a diverse, dynamic, and fast paced pharmacy team. This position is responsible for the administrative support of a large geographical area encompassing 35 pharmacies within North Zone healthcare facilities. The AS V is a creative, accountable, and resourceful person who enjoys solving challenging problems. Position negotiable within North Zone. Duties Include: Coordination and scheduling of committee meetings; this includes agenda and materials preparation, minute taking and distribution of all materials. Support for department management as needed. Development and management of data management and collection tools (e.g. excel templates). Prepares and submits documentation related to financial activities. Actively participates in process improvement initiatives. Staff scheduling and payroll.Description:As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).Additional Required Qualifications:Post-secondary education required (e.g. certificate in office or business administration). Advance knowledge of computer technology and applications required (including but not limited to MS Office suite). Excellent grammar and proof-reading skills. Excels at time management with proficient organizational skills. Able to work and problem solve under minimal supervision. Goal oriented, results driven with high attention to detail. Demonstrates excellence and effectiveness in communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 5 years administrative support experience is preferred 2 years’ experience in a health care setting is preferred Medical Terminology is an asset Timekeeping and payroll experience are an asset.
