Job Description

  • Prepare and make bank deposits, maintains financial records such as the daily journal ;
  • Operates cash register and processes cash, debit card and credit card sale transactions;
  • Prepare work schedules;
  • Supervise and co-ordinate staff and cashiers;
  • Authorize payments by cheque and process credit applications;
  • Authorize payments by cheque;
  • Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed;
  • Assign duties to staff and prepare work schedules;
  • Open and/or close the meat shop by performing duties such as placing and removing, opening and closing tills, unlocking and securing the store;
  • Develop and maintain customer base by creating a welcoming atmosphere;
  • Make work schedules and assigning duties to the sales workers;
  • Greet customers;
  • Prepare inventory orders by determining the stocks of produce and merchandise,
  • Sell merchandise;
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 20-40 per weekSalary: $15.00-$17.00 per hourFlexible language requirement:
  • French not required

Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Retail store supervisor: 2 years (required)
