Job Description

WPM WestlockWe are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and highly self-motivated individual to join our team! WPM is searching for a full time experienced Sales Executive.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years Sales experience in a MARINE, CAR OR POWERSPORTS dealership and lives within 30 mins of Westlock.Customer service is our main priority, so remaining professional always is essential. You also need to be detail-oriented and have a passion for being in sales.Westlock Powersports & Marine is an authorized Can-Am,Ski-Doo & Sea-Doo Powersport dealership in Westlock, AB. Offering a large selection of new models of ATVs, sides by sides, snowmobiles and a wide variety of pre-owned models. We are also a full service White River Marine Group Dealer authorized to sale and service Ranger Boats, Tracker Boats, Tracker Off Road Vehicles, Sun Tracker, Regency Pontoons, Triton Boats, Mako, Nitro and Tahoe.Position has a couple of salary options:

  • Minimum hourly wage plus 10% commission
or
  • Full commission base
Duties Include:
  • Recommending different types of boats to customers based on their needs and specifications
  • Explaining construction and performance of unit and differences between various types of marine equipment
  • Advising customers on selection of new equipment and problems pertaining to repairs
  • Arranging and overseeing delivery, registration, and inspection of boats
  • Selling powersports & marine equipment
  • Completing any and all paperwork and pertaining to the sales of products including financing
  • Complete daily tasks set in our customer management system
  • Showing product in the showroom and at off-site displays or shows
  • Introducing customers to dealership team to emphasize the quality and efficiency of dealership’s service operations
  • Having full knowledge of our product line, features, and accessories available for purchase
The Successful Candidate will:
  • Have demonstrated great customer follow up and prospecting
  • Be a results-driven self-starter
  • Be outgoing
  • Have excellent interpersonal and written skills
  • Be familiar with quoting and manufacturing processes
  • Complete all documentation in a timely fashion
  • Be a team player who works well with others and will assist as needed
  • Share the passion of our customers and work diligently to surpass their expectations
  • Be accountable for achieving sales margin targets
  • Assist with the company’s overall marketing efforts and new product development
  • Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and their own vehicle
