Application Support Analyst (Junior)About Us:Join a global leader in financial services expanding its operations in Montreal. The firm offers a dynamic career environment and the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects.About the Role:As a Junior Application Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fixed-income risk engines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical and functional support for market risk and fixed-income products.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborating with trading teams and development groups in multiple locations.
  • Reporting on production and project status to management.
  • Learning and applying best practices in IT support and financial risk management.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a support analyst
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, especially market risk and fixed-income products
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CFA Level 1 or higher
  • ITIL certification
  • Programming experience (Python, Shell)
