Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of fixed income and equities securities processing domains, identifying and articulating complex business requirements, functions, and processes.
  • Solution Design: Drive the development of innovative, cost-effective technical and non-technical solutions, considering strategic and tactical approaches.
  • Project Management: Oversee solution workshops, coordinate testing efforts with users, and ensure timely project delivery through effective stakeholder management and sign-off processes.
  • Requirement Bridging: Translate intricate business requirements into precise technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
  • User Engagement: Collaborate closely with users to develop comprehensive test plans, define user sign-off criteria, and analyze testing results to identify and address issues.
  • Architectural Contributions: Actively participate in the design and evolution of new architecture, ensuring alignment with the organization #39;s overall IT strategy.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst within investment banking, with a strong focus on securities and cash products (Equity and Fixed Income Settlement and Clearance).
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of trading and brokerage operations, from front-office to back-office processes, and a solid grasp of Fixed Income or Equities instruments.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to effectively collaborate with business clients (front office, accounting, finance, and risk) to understand and document their requirements, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of major SDLC approaches, particularly Agile methodology, and proficiency in SQL, Excel, Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Application Familiarity: Experience with Broadridge applications (BPS/IMPACT/FinancePraDLR).
  • Global Collaboration: Ability to coordinate and collaborate with teams across different time zones.
  • Leadership: Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with the ability to take on leadership roles when necessary.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative team player who can maintain high discipline levels within the given SDLC process.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of XML and JSON, experience with PowerBI, and previous experience as a project manager in the information technology sector.
  • Education: Bachelor #39;s degree or Master #39;s in Finance, Business Administration, or Computer Science/Engineering with a minor in Finance.
Language: Fluency in both French and English is required, as the candidate will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.Key Improvements:
