Job Description

WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications within the team #39;s scope.
  • Develop and maintain operational and development platforms.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and create roadmaps.
  • Support and operate the applications and services managed by the team.
  • Assist in resolving production issues when deeper expertise is needed.
  • Communicate with users and other teams on project delivery and production quality.
  • Engage in QA and UAT testing for software development.
  • Participate in Change Management and Release Management (CMRM) processes.
  • Conduct data analysis for user needs or improvement purposes.
ProfileSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Must Have:
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Core (ideally ASP.NET and MVC).
  • Hands on experience with data manipulation and transformation.
  • Hands on experience developing and deploying microservices, REST APIs.
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines (ex: Github, Jenkins); and containerization (ex: Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with Spark, Azure, AKS, Hadoop/HDInsight.
  • Good understanding of SQL, relational data modelling and database engines.
  • Capacity to interact or participate in front-end development (ex: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.JS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology and software development lifecycles.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience working in a complex IT environment.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry or with accounting models.
Education: University degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field. Languages: English and FrenchAbility to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
