Job Description

Overview Our client is a private household located in Westmount and composed of two adults, seeking a talented and organized private chef to help them maintain a healthy and varied diet by preparing pre-cooked meals for dinner (7 days a week). The dishes are preferably to be prepared at their residence, using, in part, fresh produce from their farm.Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare a variety of healthy dishes on a weekly basis that can be easily finished and reheated.
  • Understand and incorporate the dietary preferences and nutritional needs of the principals.
  • Purchase the necessary ingredients, focusing on freshness and quality.
  • Prepare appropriate portions to facilitate meals throughout the week.
  • Refrigerate or freeze meals in an organized manner with clear instructions for reheating and finishing.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Proven professional experience as a chef, with specific expertise in preparing pre-cooked (pre-prepared) meals.
  • Excellent understanding of nutrition and the ability to create balanced, healthy meals.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • High level of autonomy and ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the evolving tastes and needs of the household.
