We are currently looking for a Senior Legal Assistant for one of our clients in the legal industry.Whats in it for you:• Annual salary of $55,000 to $75,000.• Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week).• During the summer, enjoy a schedule that gives you Friday afternoons off from July to Labor Day (summer schedule).• Work-life balance, promoting well-being and productivity through a hybrid model.• Mobile leave hours to use at your convenience throughout the year.• Provided computer equipment for your home office and an allowance to set it up according to your needs.• Accessible management team and a humane environment.• Several internal committees, including a social committee responsible for your entertainment, as well as a committee focused on physical and mental well-being.• Casual dress code allowing you to wear jeans daily.• Employer-paid group insurance coverage.• Telemedicine service to avoid long waits at the doctors office.• Simplified retirement plan with employer contributions.• For parents of young children, a 50% reimbursement program with our caterers for ready-to-eat meals.• Employee assistance program because we care about your well-being.Responsibilities:• Proactively support professionals in managing and monitoring their cases.• Ensure the follow-up of client files and deliverables while meeting deadlines.• Conduct reminders and follow-ups with current and potential clients in a professional and courteous manner.• Coordinate the schedule and provide necessary follow-ups for all appointments, meetings, events, and committees attended by assigned professionals.• Prepare the required documentation for various scheduled events or standard documentation such as offer letters, contracts, resolutions, notices, etc.• Review and proofread documents.• Perform various administrative tasks, including file openings, billing, time entries, expense allocations, document management, filing, etc.• Support colleagues during peak periods.What you will need to succeed:• Diploma in secretarial studies, legal secretarial studies, or equivalent training.• +2 years of experience in legal secretarial work, particularly in business law.• Knowledge of terminology and documents related to business law.• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.• Increased interest in new computer technologies.• French/English bilingualism, spoken and written (to adequately support our lawyers with an English-speaking clientele).• Knowledge of Maître and FileSite software (an asset).• Attention to detail and client orientation.• Sense of responsibility and organization.• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.• Enthusiasm, courtesy, professionalism, and resourcefulness.• Team spirit and initiative.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
