Job Description

Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Saskatchewan-based grain farming company to hire Equipment Operators and 1A Drivers in locations across the province. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team of drivers and equipment operators on a large modern grain farm.Perks & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Operate & maintain farm equipment and transport trucks
  • Haul grain, seed, fertilizer, & farm chemicals
  • Monitor disease and health of crops
  • Maintain farm fields, yards, buildings
  • Accurately record farm activity records
  • Ensure cleanliness of all equipment and shops
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 5 license mandatory for all employees; class 1A preferred
  • General mechanical ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance
  • Willing to work outdoors with irregular and long hours; a clear understanding of typical farming hours & requirements
  • Flexibility and capacity to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Three years prior experience operating farm machinery and/or semi-truck and super B trailers
  • Able to perform physical labour such as heavy lifting, shovelling, climbing
  • Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
