Responsibilities include promoting and actively reinforcing company policies and procedures designed to keep the branch operations/personnel safe, efficient, and profitable. The ideal candidate will have strong local knowledge of industry in the Weyburn/Estevan area and will possess a combination of excellent analytical and communication skills along with natural leadership qualities.Job DutiesDevelop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive growth of the branchFoster proactive safety culture by leading by exampleDevelop and maintain relationships with new and existing customersEnsure effective branch project management oversightCreate and manage branch budgetsReview income statements for trends and areas of improvementForecast manpower and equipment for area of influenceEnsure workforce is trained and executing duties in alignment with company policies and proceduresOversee logistics planning and resourcesEnsure all federal and provincial regulations and legislation are not contravenedAct with the highest degree of ethics and moral responsibilityResponsible for the hiring and professional development of all direct reports in collaboration with HRResolve disputesActively promote and grow the DFI brand within the community and local industriesQualificationsIntermediate user of Microsoft Office suite of products2 years Outside Sales ExperienceCertificate/Bachelors degree in BA or Commerce or 10+ years work experience including 5 years management/business development experienceOilfield Industrial and/or Commercial Foundation Construction and/or Hydrovac experience is considered and assetExperience with Commercial Transportation and/or Logistic Management is an assetEstablished local resident of Weyburn, SK area
