Currently, the Early Learning and Child Care Program has an exciting opportunity for an Early Learning and Child Care Consultant in Weyburn.In this position you will develop, license, and monitor child care services, support parents and caregivers, and assist community groups and individuals to meet their child care needs. You will also actively work toward the recruitment and retention of new licensed family child care providers in the area. Finally, you will make information about early childhood care and education available to the public and enforce The Child Care Act, 2014 and The Child Care Regulations, 2015.Typically, the knowledge and experience required for this position would be acquired through experience as the director of a child care centre and related early childhood education and/or an equivalent amount of related education and experience.The successful candidate will be required to submit a criminal record check and show proof of a valid driver’s licence.
