miEnergy is currently hiring an Equipment Operator for projects located near Weyburn, SK.Equipment Operator_________________________________________________________________________________Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and basic maintenance of equipment while on the job site, unloading and loading trailers, moving equipment and materials around site and assisting with other duties, all while following all policies, procedures and legislation required to operate the equipment safely.Hours of work are based on an average of 160 hours/month. Successful candidates must be available for overtime work and weekends, when required, to ensure deadline deliverables.Key Responsibilities: - Operate a variety of equipment (primarily skid steer, telehandler, and PD10)- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances- Inspect equipment on a regular basis, pre and post operating- Communicate any unsafe conditions or wear and/or damage of equipment to supervisor to facilitate corrective action- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable provincial and federal regulations- Loading, unloading, and distributing materials around site- Assisting with general labour duties on site as required- Committed to safe work practices in accordance with miEnergy Safety procedures and policiesWork Conditions: This position is physically demanding and involves exposure to all elements of outdoor work, Ability to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders.
