Starting employees earn $265.00 / 12-hour day on average factoring in daily/weekly overtimeThe primary responsibility of the Safety Watch role is focus on safety in the vicinity under his/her surveillance including occasional visitors as well as workers assigned to the worksite.Safety Watch personnel duties include (but are not limited to):Setting up, inspecting and maintaining safety equipmentMonitoring and backing up all personnel under breathing air by having function tested SCBA readily available for useEnsuring all incidents are reported and investigated immediatelyParticipating in all pre-job meetings with an emphasis on specific worksite hazardsKnowing the whereabouts of all safety equipment: Fire Extinguishers/Pull Stations, Eye Wash Stations, Shower Units, First Aid Room(s), Muster Locations, Breathing Apparatuses, etc.HSE has several opportunities in Calgary, Red Deer, Fort Saskatchewan & Fort McMurray. Classroom time is unpaid as it is prior to your hire date, however, HSE will provide you with Industry Standard tickets upon successful completion of the Safety Watch training program and once you have completed your first assigned project or 21 days in the field, whichever comes first.
