LOCATION: · This position will be split between the Estevan and Weyburn offices with the expectation that 3 days per week will be at the one office and 1 day at the other (home location TBD)· Home location will be determined based on location of successful applicant· There will be a flat rate travel allowance of $25 per week for travel to the alternate office in lieu of mileageDUTIES to include: · Intake screening for all initial contacts relating to counselling services· Direct client support and counselling to individuals, couples and families in crisis when necessary· Develop/promote/facilitate Envision’s groups, training and workshops for children, youth and adults· Advocate, support and effectively collaborate with community agencies for clients’ personal, physical and emotional health· Promote Envision’s programs, develop and deliver presentations and workshops, plan/promote/attend community and public events when necessary· Develop/deliver public education programmingQUALIFICATIONS: · B.S.W. preferred, however relevant experience and knowledge will be considered· Knowledge and experience in various counselling areas including: interpersonal violence and abuse, family therapy, crisis intervention and group facilitation· Knowledge of counselling theories, understanding of client-centered and strength-based services· Ability to perform tasks to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines· Computer literacy level to respond to the requirements of the position· Organizational and interpersonal skills· Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with other professionals· Reliability and flexibility to meet the demands of the position· Effective decision making skills· Experience facilitating groups, workshops and outreach presentations would be considered an asset· Experience in working with community groups, volunteers and agencies would be considered an asset· Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle· Successful applicants must consent to a police record check.CLOSING DATE: Friday, October 28, 2022Forward Letter of Intent and Resume to:Envision Counselling and Support Centre Inc.Attn: Laura Melle, Assistant Executive DirectorJob Types: Part-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 4 monthsPart-time hours: 37.5 per weekSalary: $20.47-$24.34 per hourSchedule:
