Job Description

Crescent Point Energy is a conventional oil and gas producer with assets strategically focused on properties comprised of high-quality, long-life, operated light and medium oil and natural gas reserves in United States and Canada. Crescent Point strives to create sustainable, value-added growth in reserves, production, and cash flow through the execution of management’s integrated strategy of acquiring and developing reserves.Job title: Operational Technology CoordinatorLocation: Weyburn or Carlyle, SaskatchewanReports to: Operational Technology ForemanEmployment type: Permanent, full-timePurpose:The Operational Technology Coordinator will be responsible for training and supporting the field operations team with the Operational Technology (OT) Platform.Main Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Provide training and support to the operations team on the OT platform; including the implementation and support of the technology used within the OT platform
  • Assist with the development, implementation, evolution, and support of new workflows, technology, and initiatives within the OT platform; this includes assessing existing workflows and technology that is currently in place to ensure it is meeting the needs of operations
  • Assist with the communication between OT and operations to ensure all stakeholders are aware of changes, outages, and new development progress; this also includes gathering feedback from the field and effectively communicating it back to the OT team
  • Support the IS and IT teams with field communications, networking, and security enhancement initiatives by being the liaison between these teams and field operations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Minimum 5 years of field operating experience is required
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Results oriented, well organized, with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player that respects others and is receptive to new ideas, collaborating effectively with others
  • Positive attitude and energetic
  • Comfortable speaking in larger groups
