Job Description

Job description: Located in Whistler BC, the Whistler Brewing Co. is looking for a Part Time General Hand. This is a hands-on position that performs various tasks in both Packaging Center & Cellar, including operating equipment and preparing & cleaning for production.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist on the canning Line including packing boxes, palletizing, setup & clean up
  • Preparing for packaging days
  • Tank cleaning
  • Wash & fill kegs
  • Unloading RAW material deliveries with forklift (training provided)
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility
  • Lift and move heavy objects (up to 60kgs)
  • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear all required PPE
  • Adhere to all company policies and code of conduct
  • Work in a fast-paced environment doing sometimes repetitive tasks
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment an asset
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to handle exposure to loud noises and wet working conditions
  • Flexible and able to work day shifts with occasional overtime
  • Must supply own steel-toed footwear
  • Experience in forklift operation an asset or willingness to learn
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours day and manage repetitive tasks
  • Due to the nature of our business, it is a legal requirement that all employees are at least 19 years of age
