Job Description

Department and Assistant Department LeadersAbout UsFresh St. Market is a place to explore, discover and try whats fresh, great, amazing, and delicious. Weve searched north, south, east, and west, near and far, for some of the tastiest, local foods we think youll love. We offer top-of-the-line products in an atmosphere of discovery and exploration where new, authentic, organic, and exclusively sourced products become everyday shopping.We are currently looking for Leaders in the following areas:

  • Assistant Grocery Leader
  • Assistant Meat Leader
  • Assistant Front-End Leader
  • Assistant Cheese Leader
  • Assistant Bakery Leader
  • Deli Leader
Role Overview: Department and Assistant Department Leaders
  • Expert of the company vision, mission, and core values
  • Bring a positive attitude every day
  • Work collaboratively with others within the store to achieve working relationships
  • Establishes high standards and takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of work
  • Creating and maintain a great customer experience for both external and internal
  • Ensure food safety and quality control of all products at all times
  • Supporting the manager with inventory, waste control/management
  • Ensure health and safety standards are executed
  • Organizing special promotions, displays and events
Street Credentials:
  • Must have valid work authorization in Canada
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekend and evenings
  • 1+ years of Leadership experience in grocery or retail related field
  • Loves working in a clean and well-maintained workplace environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well with others in a high-pressure environment
  • Physical Requirements are required as a Leader in Fresh St. Market
