Th e Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for an Intermediate Maintenance who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.The Intermediate Maintenance reports to the Assistant Director of Engineering . We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and hospitality. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with basic computer systems including Microsoft Office, Purchase Order Systems, & HOT SOS and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. • Provide service and repairs as required for minor electrical, minor plumbing, swimming pool maintenance, and general building maintenance for interior and exterior areas.
• Maintain and relight all lamps in the hotel, including socket repair and replacement.
• Respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public area in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist on all plumbing stoppages in the building.
• Able to assemble desks, shelving, cabinets, etc. as assigned.
• Respond to work orders or room inspection reports submitted by Department Heads.
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
• Contribute to our environment with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Communicate with team members to ensure the highest level of personalized service.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Engineering or Maintenance experience preferred
• Hotel and Administration experience also preferred
• Strong command of the English language
• Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.
• Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in Canada
