Job Description

Gibbons Whistler is looking for the next manager to oversee the Gibbons Life travel company, the exclusive Mountain Club and Gibbons Accommodations.We are looking for an individual that provides a first-class experience for our guests and members as well as being an engine that places all potential guests into our Gibbons Wheel.You will help create an amazing guest experience as well as guiding the company towards profitability and long-term success with a key focus in driving revenue. This is a full-time management position.Key accountabilities:

  • Achieving and exceeding forecasted financials
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) for Mountain Members and Condo Guest
  • Revenue and Operating Income targets for Mountain Club and Gibbons Life Condos
  • Manages general inquiries through email and phone
  • Update and send daily i-Auditor checklist, weekly reports, cleaning schedule, and hand-over notes
  • Weekly, monthly and annual forecasting and financial review
  • Oversee daily operations of administrative team and delegate tasks as needed
Mountain Club accountabilities:
  • Ensure member relations, front desk, and all channels of communication are of standard
  • Manage Mountain Club renewals and onboarding of new members
  • Oversee member database and process renewals and payments via Pike POS
  • Welcomes and tours new club members through all club facilities
  • Manage Mountain Club membership venue perks and guest list
  • Order Mountain Club inventory
Gibbons Life Accommodation accountabilities:
  • Direct correspondence with booking partners (Airbnb, Booking.com and Expedia) with 100% response rate
  • Maintain and develop guest relations with all bookings and G-Life clientele with a focus on guest happiness and driving return business
  • Establish, survey, and adjust rates with a goal of maximum occupancy
  • Manage concierge bookings and hosting
  • Eye for growth and investment opportunities to build our Property Portfolio
Requirements:
  • 2 years in hospitality or tourism related field are considered an asset
  • Result-oriented
  • Positive, energetic and passionate about the industry
  • Great with numbers (i.e Excel, Financials etc.)
  • Impeccable organizational skills
  • Careful attention to detail and quality of work
  • Exceptional service orientation and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Self-starter – ability to jump into the middle of problems and obtain effective results
  • Ability to assist in big-picture strategy and bottom-line results
