Whistler Vacation Homes is one of Whistler’s most innovative vacation rental management companies (www.wvhmanagement.com). We manage 50+ high-end vacation rentals. This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing company.We are seeking a part-time staff to respond to guest requests/callouts on select weekends. The bulk of the requests involve supply drops (such refilling propane tanks), assisting guests with cable and internet issues, plunging a toilet, resetting breakers or assisting with other minor maintenance etc. This role requires you to be available to respond to any guest needs on weekends.6-10 hours of pay is guaranteed per weekend to be on-call depending on time of year, however most weekends there is typically 2-4 hours of work. Not all weekends will be on call, however you will have the option to take on weekends that work for you and that we need extra support.The ideal candidate has a car and drivers license, lives in Whistler, is available to respond in-person to guest requests as needed over the weekend and respond to any emergencies immediately if they arise, however most requests can be handled within a somewhat flexible timeframe on the same-day.The ideal candidate also has a strong attention to detail, experience with home or building maintenance and a dedicated work ethic.Duties: - General/basic home maintenance- Pre/post guest home-walkthroughs- Respond to minor guest requests (refill propane tank, drop additional amenities for guests)- Miscellaneous tasksQualifications: - Repairs/maintenance experience- Strong attention to detail- Self-starter & good time management skills- Professional- Positive approach to challenges- Strong communication skills- Dedicated work ethic- Drivers license- CarJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $30.00 per hourSchedule:
