Parkview Services for Seniors is comprised of three Ontario Non-Profit Corporations. Parkview Home is a 128 bed fully Accredited Long-Term Care Home. The Parkview Village Retirement Community Association of York Region is a 124-unit rental apartment building which provides for independent living. And the Parkview Village Cluster Homes for Seniors Association of York Region was formed to provide an independent living environment under a life lease model.Our mission is to serve seniors, nurture the community and honour aging!We are seeking a Student Executive Assistant to join our team. This role is an 8-week contract, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Student Executive Assistant will provide support relative to Business Services to optimize the operation of the Parkview Services for Seniors.Responsibilities:· Administrative Support to the Senior Management Team· Provide reports, analytics and updates to the Senior Management Team as assigned· Sets up effective file management systems· Effective meeting management and management of calendar to include liaison with appropriate staff,· Scheduling of meeting space, set up requirements, catering, AV equipment and acceptance· Monitor email and identify action items for follow up· Coordinate agenda, minutes, follow up, for assigned committees· Update documents for review· Assist with accreditation activities and action plans· Manage and design content for various external communications, newsletters and e-publications to support the core business of Parkview Services for Seniors.· Manage and maintain Parkview’s website, social media platforms and telephone messaging by· adding content, updating current information and expanding its presence, visibility, awareness and traffic across various platforms.· Maintain analytics for social media and website including: tracking traffic, engagement, followers, likes, shares, behaviour, audience, user visits, sessions etc.· Special projects as assignedSkills/Experience:· Enrolled in Business Administration, Human Resource Management and/or Communications major would be an asset.· Interest in working with the geriatric population.· Good oral and written communication skills· Basic computer skills.This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program and This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs and is subject to their Articles of Agreement.
