Are you passionate about the ECE profession Southeast College is expanding our instructional team. If you have a passion for education, inspiring others and enabling student success, this is the opportunity for you!Located at the Southeast College Campus in Whitewood, the instructor will deliver curriculum for Year 1 of the ECE program.Start date: August 15, 2022End date: May 23, 2023Total Contract Days: 179-183Responsibilities:- Instruct the ECE curriculum as outlined by Saskatchewan Polytechnic- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback- Maintain a classroom environment conductive to adult learning- Meet with practicum host site managers- Proactively develop and deliver standard-aligned content for blended and/or virtual delivery learning. This includes but is not limited to tracking students learning paths and monitoring content engagement metrics as well as leveraging this actionable data and proven teaching practices to fulfill learner goals.- Optimize the use of blended learning environments- Administration duties including: printing/accessing, administering and correcting student exams; monitoring and recording attendance; tabulating/submitting marks; maintenance of all program marks for student bodyEducation and Experience:- Relevant Bachelors Degree (Education, Child and Youth Studies, Child Development)- Two years recent, relevant experience working in an Early Learning and Childcare Education setting as an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher/ECE Instructor.- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.- Functional knowledge of on-line tools such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom for instructional purposes.A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this position.Southeast College values diversity and is committed to a representative workforce.
