This locum opportunity starts in July 2021, and has a flexible end date with a maximum of 1-year. A permanent position will be available once the locum has ended, should the physician wish to stay with the practice.This collaborative group practice consists of two family physicians, one nurse practitioner, and one family practice nurse. This is a turn-key opportunity with a competitive overhead rate. This locum opportunity is compensated under an Alternative Payment Plan.ResponsibilitiesThis collaborative group practice consists of two family physicians, one nurse practitioner, and one family practice nurse. This locum opportunity is compensated under an Alternative Payment Plan.Avon Medical Clinic uses the Med Access electronic medical record (EMR) system and also utilizes the My Health NS technology with their patients. Physicians can incorporate emergency care, inpatient care, long-term care, or surgical assists into their medical practice if they wish. Services offered at this clinic include:

  • lactation consultant and neonatal follow-ups
  • palliative care
  • addictions medicine
  • minor procedures
