Reporting to the Manager, the HCA provides assistance to the professional nurse (RN/RPN) in the provision of nursingservices in a Continuing Care environment. The HCA is accountable for the activities and tasks assigned to them, providingcare within the boundaries of their knowledge and competency. The HCA is responsible for knowing and declining whencare that needs to be provided exceeds their level of competence.Employees in this classification who have the appropriate training, orientation and/or experience may, from time totime, be reassigned (float) to other work areas to meet operational staffing requirements.QUALIFICATIONS:
