Job Description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician / Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body painting.Responsibilities:

  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting.
  • Replace or repair damaged panels, bumpers, and other components.
  • Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document all repairs performed on vehicles for record-keeping.
Skills:
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to auto body repair.
  • Strong mechanical and painting knowledge.
  • Experience in automotive repair, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of spray painting (HVLP, electrostatic spray gun and pressure pot) are required.
  • Familiar with all terms of painting.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Reading and writing skills.
  • Full use of hands/fingers.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hour work week (Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day).
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to highly-toxic fumes.
  • Work within a special-ventilated booth.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Large amounts of time spent standing, bending, crouching, or stooping.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
