  • Immediate temporary opportunity as a Financial Analyst in the Healthcare field in Winnipeg
  • Onsite position Monday to Friday 8 am to 430 pm
  • Potential to extend
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvements to the efficiency of the financial services, processes and procedures
  • Create financial reports and support for financial forecasting, budget maintenance and reporting metrics tracking
  • Request month-end financial transactions
  • Review accounts and expense accruals
  • Analyze financial variances affecting cost centres and ensure they are accurately reported in a timely manner
  • Other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 3 plus years of progressive experience in accounting and finance in a corporate setting and or as a Financial Analyst
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting and Finance, or Business Administration; a combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 2 years experience with financial reporting, financial analysis and forecasting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Experience with SAP and/or Great Plains is required
  • Criminal record check required
