Job Description

The Government of Manitoba is seeking an experienced SAP S/4 Integration Lead to drive the design, implementation, and management of integration solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment. This key leadership role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules, integration technologies, and business processes to ensure seamless connectivity between SAP and various internal and external systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all SAP integration activities across Manitoba and associated organizations.
  • Design and implement SAP integration technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Oversee integration testing and troubleshoot system/process issues across functional streams.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and execute integration strategies.
  • Partner with system integrators and internal teams to maintain quality, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with professional and technical standards, including Manitobas code of conduct.
  • Lead delivery of complex SAP S/4HANA integration projects, including on-premise and cloud-based implementations.
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints and roadmaps for SAP integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Optimize integration solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure alignment between integration strategies and overall business goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of SAP and Cloud trends to drive innovation and transformation.
Required Skillsamp; Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP S/4 Integration Manager or similar role, with at least 2 years on large SAP S/4 implementations.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules and integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration, APIs, etc.).
  • Strong technical skills in ERP integration, database management, and SAP ecosystem complexity.
  • Experience in public sector environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively on cross-functional projects.
  • Proven experience with SAP integration management across S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass, and SuccessFactors.
  • Strong ability to act as a liaison between SAP consultants, system integrators, and business stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP certifications related to integration or relevant modules.
  • Experience working in a Canadian public service entity.
  • Strong business systems support and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
