Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact initiative focused on the redesign and optimization of Manitobas provincial healthcare recruitment website. The role will involve managing updates related to website design, content, and user experience, while engaging a broad range of stakeholders including government representatives, subject matter experts, contracted agencies, and others.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of the HCRRO website redesign and content verification project.
  • Coordinate across government departments, health care organizations, and external partners to align project goals with stakeholder needs.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and communications to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate collaboration among large stakeholder groups including clinical experts, executive leadership, and union/professional associations.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to project teams and sub-project leads.
  • Report on project progress to executive sponsors and steering committees.
  • Ensure alignment with provincial health workforce strategies and quality patient care initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Biology or Health Sciences is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years experience managing projects related to health workforce recruitment.
  • At least 10 years experience delivering healthcare initiatives involving workforce planning with a focus on patient safety and quality environments.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with cross-functional stakeholder teams (10+ members) in healthcare, including executives, clinicians, and unions/professional bodies.
  • Proven 5 years experience in managing web design and user experience (UX) improvement projects.
  • At least 2 years experience managing projects specifically related to the nursing workforce.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working on health system or workforce initiatives within the Manitoba healthcare system.
