This individual will be able to provide insightful financial information and business performance analyses and will possess excellent communication and time management skills. The Senior Financial Analyst will have a strong understanding of financial reporting and a passion for financial planning and analysis.ResponsibilitiesEssential:• Work closely with the finance teams to analyze and understand financial results;• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support;• Prepare monthly business reports for departmental reporting;• Support the finance team with the annual budgeting process;• Develop models for financial projections and forecasts;• Develop reporting and tracking of operational metrics;• Analyze financial results and identify trends;• Compile information for external data requests;• Perform market research and competitive analysis;• Assist with ad-hoc information requests and provide ongoing support to other departments;• Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as assignedEducationamp; Experience• Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline;• At least 3 -5 years working experience in a similar role;• Knowledge of the investment industry and good business acumen an asset;• Proficiency in financial reporting tools;• Proficiency in financial modeling techniques;• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks;• Demonstrated ability to work in a changing environment.Technical Knowledge• Advanced working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office products;• Previous experience in Business Central (Dynamics 365), Jet Reports and/or Power BI would be considered an asset;• Familiarity with data management tools an asset;• An ability to learn and adapt to new technology.Skillsamp; Abilities• Strong attention to detail and time management skills;• Strong verbal and written communication skills;• Strong problem-solving skills;• Excellent team player with the ability to build collaborative working relationships;• Strong work ethic and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlinesComprehensive health, dental and vision benetitsHealthamp; Wellness Spending Account4% Matching RRSP allocationGreat workplace culture!
