Job description:ABM College is one of the leading career training institutions in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. Throughout its history, ABM College has provided students with professional training, academic knowledge, and the right skill set to meet employment market demands.ABM College is currently looking for a highly experienced, dynamic, and exceptionally talented Web Designamp; Development Instructor responsible for delivering up-to-date instruction on the latest web development technologies and methodologies in our Winnipeg Campus. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of web developers and contribute to the growth of our organization.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging curriculum for web development courses, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Facilitate interactive lectures, workshops, and hands-on exercises to enhance student learning and understanding.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students to support their skill development and career aspirations.
  • Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continually update and improve course materials to reflect industry trends and advancements.
  • Stay informed about current trends and innovations in web development, and integrate relevant updates into course content.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Instructor Qualifications:
  • At least 12 months of occupational experience in the vocation of program instruction, and a bachelor #39;s degree from a university in Canada, or an equivalent university outside of Canada that is related to the program of instruction. Or
  • 24 months of occupational experience in the related course or program of instruction, and
  • Must have graduated in a subject related to the course or program of instruction from the following:
    • A community college in Manitoba or an equivalent recognized institution outside of Manitoba.
    • A registered Private Vocational Institution, or trade, or vocational institution registered elsewhere in Canada or an equivalent instruction outside of Canada. Or
  • 36 months #39; experience as an instructor in that course or program at a recognized institution.
  • 48 months #39; experience in the vocation, if they are high school graduates.
  • Proven track record of effective teaching or training in a classroom or workshop setting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting student success.
  • Relevant/ Required industry certifications and credentials (if applicable).
  • Adult abuse registry check under The Adult Abuse Registry Act (if applicable).
  • Child abuse registry check under The Child and Family Services Act (if applicable).
  • Criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector search obtained from a law enforcement agency stating whether the individual has any conviction or outstanding charge awaiting court disposition under any federal, provincial, or territorial enactment; and the details of any conviction or charge. (if applicable)
  • Regulatory requirements.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent.Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift.
  • Every Weekend.
  • Weekends only.
Work Location: In person.Expected start date: 2025-03-05.
