COMPANY PROFILEPrimoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.SUMMARYA Labourer is involved in a variety of job scopes assisting ticketed tradesmen. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.Location: CNRL Maintenance - Fort McMurray, ABAnticipated Start Date: 2022-08-30Shift: 7&7Accommodation: Camp availableTravel: Flights provided from Edmonton or CalgaryHourly Rate: $36.92 (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)

  • Base Rate: $29.16
JOB DUTIES
  • Comply with PSC and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
  • Assisting tradesmen in completing daily duties
  • Sorting and selecting tools, as requested by journeymen
  • Acting as fire/spark watch for welders
  • General Clean-Up
  • Load and unload materials as required
  • Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
  • May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience working on an industrial site is considered an asset, but not required
  • CSTS-09 or CSO, or BSO
  • OSSA Fire Watch is considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment
