Job Description

Position Summary:Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk is accountable for preparing customer invoicing for product ordered through the order desk and administratively preparing all documents for product deliveries and pick-ups. Duties involve include issuing codes, invoices, processes warehouse releases and stock transfers, maintains customer account inventory levels and processes export documentation and government forms.Key Accountabilities:

  • Processing of invoices, inter-company orders and exports.
  • Data entry of raw and further processing product (FFP).
  • Preparing reports, documentation and filing.
  • Processing staff orders and entering information on all daily tracking spreadsheets.
  • Responding to daily phone messages within the shipping department.
  • Other role specific duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 diploma.
  • Strong data entry experience and attention to detail required.
  • Computer literate, with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous customer service/shipping experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work with minimum direction in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
