Job Description

Securiguard seeks highly capable security and investigations professionals to join our OFA 2 (OFA -intermediate) Guards Team. If you #39;re enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment, expanding your skill set, and exploring potential law enforcement prospects, this opportunity is for youTop of Form. As part of this team, you #39;ll operate within select retail stores, responsible for apprehending shoplifters, tracking repeat offenders, and gathering intelligence on ongoing crime activities. What you bring:

  • Valid BC Security Worker License (Required)
  • OFA 2/Intermediate (Required)
  • Security / Loss prevention experience- 1 year (Preferred)
  • Must be flexible to work in multiple stores/locations
  • Must be able to stand for an 8-hour period
  • Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis
  • Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictate
