Job Description

Senior/ Lead Full Stack Rails DeveloperThe CompanyOur partner has been the leading commercial real estate listing platform in Canada. Their business is a listing platform designed to help discover incredible spaces and make smart decisions about where to start or expand a business. Their objective is make it easy, transparent, and fun to search for space by providing complete, rich and accurate information.They are looking for a Senior/ Lead Full Stack Developer and the focus is on core feature development (primarily backend), data management/integrations, API development, platform optimizations, project planning/strategy, devops (heroku) and perform peer code reviews.Qualificationsamp; Skills

  • 5+ years as a senior developer (leadership experience a plus)
  • Experience with databases: Postgres, ElasticSearch (Algolia a plus)
  • Very Strong programming experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with Heroku, AWS, S3 and REST APIs
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs (REST, OAuth, AWS, etc)
  • Strong experience in frontend web technologies including HTML5, SCSS, CoffeeScript.
  • Experience with Github and Jira
