Job Description

Job DescriptionCurrently seeking full/part time individual(s) to fill position(s) of Fedex Ground Delivery Drivers under the contracted company 11219359 Canada Limited. The Driver will operate under the Business Contact, servicing their selected service area in terms of package delivery, pick-ups and other varying services. Typical core operations occur Monday to Friday, flexibility for the occasional weekend is required. The following duties, requirements and experience are as follows:Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
  • Loading, transporting and delivering parcels to various locations in specific given route
  • Abiding by all transportation laws
  • Preparing and completing pre and post trip logs
  • Loading and unloading parcels from vehicles
  • Operating various equipment such as Ford Transits, delivery devices, etc.
  • Prepare, organize and up-keep daily paper work
Experience:
  • One year (1) customer service
  • One (1) year of commercial driving experience
Qualifications & Requirements
  • G Driver’s Licence
  • Clean driving abstract – minimum past three years
  • One (1) year of commercial driving experience
  • Ability to lift 50 kgs
  • Online training program (approx four (4) hours)
  • Driver required to start and dispatch from Bancroft every morning
Routes & Area Being Covered:
  • Yarmouth
  • Middleton
  • Digby
  • Etc.
