This position will involve both general Obstetrical and Gynecological expertise. The successful candidate will provide low risk prenatal and obstetrical care in a consultant role of support for five physicians who deliver primary care obstetrics. Office and peri-operative gynecology services will include surgical expertise with minimally invasive skills, colposcopy as well as some diagnostic imaging services (hysterosalpingograms and biophysical profile ultrasounds). This OB/GYN call is 1:3. Physicians have an opportunity to work as a preceptor with medical students and residents as well. Compensation is through alternate payment plan. In addition, call stipends and other incentives are available through the Master Agreement between the Province of Nova Scotia and Doctors Nova Scotia.YRH provides a range of primary and secondary services through in-patient, outpatient and satellite programs:
