There is an affiliation with IWK Childrens Hospital in Halifax which provides travelling sub-specialty clinics, telehealth grand rounds, and an air transport program.Yarmouth Regional Hospital (YRH) was originally founded in 1912 and has developed into a vast health care complex serving the 60,000 people of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby Counties.
