Job Description

Title: Business Intelligence Developer Location: Canada (Remote) Estimated Duration: 6+ months Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in CA)Must have Skills: Qliksense, T-sql(Should have T-sql developmenet experience), SSIS, Power BI.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain QlikSense dashboards and reports to provide insights into key business metrics and trends.
  • Design and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Build and manage SSIS packages for data integration and automation tasks.
  • Develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI reports and visualizations to facilitate data analysis and interpretation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and profiling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by implementing data quality checks and validation procedures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence and analytics
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in business intelligence development, with proficiency in QlikSense, T-SQL, SSIS, and Power BI.
  • Strong T-SQL development skills, including query optimization, performance tuning, and database design.
  • Experience in designing and building complex BI solutions, including data modeling and schema design.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
