Job Description

Job Summary: The Technical Architect role involves planning, coordinating, developing, documenting, and delivering Microsoft Power Platforms, multiple M365, and Cloud-related projects and services, from analysis to implementation. This includes researching technology trends, architecting new IT services, evaluating current services, and collaborating with multi-disciplined teams. The architect will provide technical recommendations, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and maintain documentation. Location: Alberta, Canada,Responsibilities: - Research and evaluate latest technology trends. - Architect new IT services, develop solution papers, and test plans. - Evaluate current services and recommend remedial actions. - Assist in determining hardware/software requirements. - Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams on proof of concept and limited production rollouts. - Provide quality control on production implementations. - Communicate operation guidelines and policies to clients. - Review new services and technology requests and assess their impact. - Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and estimates. - Assist in developing task lists and resource assignments. - Assist with the implementation of IT infrastructure. - Document technical recommendations and provide technical advice and guidance. - Ensure change management processes are followed. - Make recommendations to project team members pertaining to issues, risks, and client satisfaction. - Provide tracking and reporting of time and status on all work as required. Required Skillsamp; Certifications: - Working knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure environments (workstation/server hardware, software build and push strategies). - General understanding of line-of-business applications and architectures for both on-premise and cloud environments. - Sound understanding of IT Change and Communication Management and User Acceptance Testing frameworks. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proven ability to function on an individual basis and in a team environment.
