Job Summary: This Full Stack Developer role involves building and enhancing a portfolio of digital services to improve efficiency for external housing providers and support Albertans in accessing affordable housing. The developer will translate requirements into technical specifications, manage source code, perform integrations with Azure services, develop solutions using specified technologies, create CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot technical issues. Collaboration with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders within an agile team is crucial. The role requires strong experience in both front-end and back-end development within a cloud-hosted environment. Location: Alberta, CanadaResponsibilities: - Build and enhance digital services portfolio. - Translate functional and system requirements into technical specifications and working solutions. - Manage source code through version control systems. - Perform integrations with Azure functions and Azure Storage queues. - Develop solutions using .NET, React, TypeScript, Cosmos, and Azure SQL. - Create continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines using GitHub actions. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including root cause analysis and remediation planning. - Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders as part of agile delivery teams; provide regular updates on status, risks, and progress. - Provide monthly written status updates. Required Skillsamp; Certifications: - Experience developing front and end and back-end software in a cloud-hosted environment. - Experience managing source code through version control systems using a peer review process. - Experience creating and consuming application programming interfaces for integration with external systems. - Experience developing solutions using .NET, React, TypeScript, Cosmos, and Azure SQL. Preferred Skillsamp; Certifications: - Experience working in a cross-functional team comprising designers, analysts, and developers operating in an agile environment. - Experience performing integration with Azure Functions and Azure Storage queues for asynchronous processing. - Experience using Git Flow and pull requests for submission of source code changes. - Experience creating continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines using GitHub actions. - Experience using Azure platform as a service capabilities. - Experience implementing security practices and role-based access controls in an Azure environment. - Experience integrating with PowerApps/Dynamics 365 solutions. - Experience supporting applications with real-time and/or high-throughput data requirements. - Experience creating automated regression tests using Cypress.
