Job Summary: The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and refining business and technical requirements, translating them into detailed RFX solicitation documents. This role involves supporting the development of procurement strategies, preparing RFXs, reviewing vendor bids, and assisting in contract finalization. The specialist will also contribute to post-procurement reviews and maintain accurate procurement records. Location: N/A, Alberta, Canada,Responsibilities: - Support the development of procurement strategies aligned with project objectives. - Research and refine business and technical requirements. - Prepare RFXs and draft associated review documents. - Identify potential subprojects requiring separate RFXs. - Assist in interpreting RFXs for vendors and drafting formal responses. - Prepare selection methodologies, evaluation plans, and award recommendations. - Review vendor bids for completeness and compliance. - Create supporting documentation in accordance with procurement policy. - Assist in organizing bidder conferences and vendor presentations. - Support the debriefing process for unsuccessful vendors. - Assist in finalizing contracts with selected vendors. - Conduct post-procurement reviews and compile vendor performance evaluations. - Prepare formal evaluation reports and procurement recommendations. - Maintain accurate procurement and contract records.
