Job Description

Role: QA Tester with Health Information Exchange (HIE) Experience Location: Canada (Remote) Job Type: ContractKey Requirement Must Have Healthcare Experience:

  • Seeking a highly experienced QA Tester with strong manual testing skills and Healthcare domain experience is mandatory, particularly in Health Information Exchange (HIE) systems
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with HL7 and CCDA messaging standards
  • Experience validating electronic health data exchanges between systems
  • This role requires working in Agile environments and close collaboration with technical and business teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual QA testing for healthcare applications and integration systems
  • Validate HL7 and CCDA message formats in HIE platforms
  • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation
  • Provide QA oversight throughout the development lifecycle in Agile teams
  • Identify, log, and track defects to closure
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards
Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in manual QA testing
  • Proven experience with HL7/CCDA messaging
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to interact with business teams and understand healthcare workflows
