Transform Lives as a Part-Time Dietitian in the heart of Agassiz, B.C.!As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents through nutrition assessment, planning, and education. You will work closely with our healthcare team to create individualized dietary plans that meet the unique needs of our residents. This position involves working in our long-term care sites providing nutrition care and support to patients and residents. And with a warm, welcoming community at Park Place, you’ll be part of a supportive environment where everyone is committed to making a difference.What You #39;ll Do Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for residents.Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized dietary care plans.Collaborate with nursing and care staff to ensure nutritional needs are met.Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families.Monitor and evaluate resident progress and dietary compliance.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements related to nutrition in long-term care.Qualifications:Registered Dietitian (RD) designation in British Columbia.Restricted Activities A.Food SafeExperience in long-term care, geriatrics, or a similar setting is an asset.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Knowledge of food service management and dietary regulations is an advantage.
