We provide innovative packaging solutions to the some of the world’s largest beverage manufacturers and with the start-up of our new flexographic press in 2021, our goal is to diversify and become the leader in general, food and beverage packaging.Career OpportunityThe Graphics Analyst will be responsible for organizing pre-press activities relating to new products, promotions and or graphic changes as directed by the Graphics Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and administration skills as well as a Print Production background.How will you make an impact:

• Monitor Press schedule for new items.
• Manage graphics processes from artwork through production printing
• Follow-up on graphics assignments to ensure successful completion
• Communicate all graphics issues with jobs within WestRock and customers.
• Coordinate communications relating to graphics between WestRock and vendors, customers, and graphic designers.
• Assist departments in updating BPCS files with new/revised graphics instructions and materials.
• Acquire color matches, assign color standards, and assist in the coordination of press approvals for customers.
• Provide press and pre-press departments with all required materials within specifications.
• Review and update electronic die files to keep current.
• Responsible to work in compliance with the provisions of the company’s health and safety regulations.

What you need to succeed:

• Print Production/ Graphics degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Project management skills and experience is an asset.
• Customer service background
• Proficient in computer software applications.
• Working knowledge of IMAC and PC platform, main frames or AS400
• Working knowledge of Offset & Flexo print processes
• Good BPCS knowledge familiar with MRP terminologies and relevant BPCS modules.
