Job Description

We are currently looking for someone to join our Deer Creek team as a security guard, to enhance safety solutions at our facility. We are looking for someone who has a passion for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and our facility.Job Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekdays, and weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability is a must)
  • Must provide recent police check
Responsibilities:
  • Establish a strong security presence
  • Patrol the premises, provide support to employees and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Ensure proper procedures and policies are followed
  • Input detailed and accurate incident reports
  • Mitigate financial and physical loss
  • Securing and locking up the facility
  • Identify potential health, safety and security risks and report the appropriate information to management
Qualifications/Certifications:
  • Valid Ontario Security license
  • Smart Serve certified (can acquire when hired)
  • CPR & First Aid certified (can acquire when hired)
  • Must be proficient in English & excellent people and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (which may include an entire shift)
  • Must be able to work a variety of schedules including daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Security or equivalent field
