Job Description

As Lotus Group continues to grow and expand, we are excited about welcoming an additional Professional Resume Writer to join our team. As a multidisciplinary HR collective, Lotus Group has a deep understanding of how important the art of resume writing is. We ensure that your resume properly articulates and highlights your strengths and accomplishments, while ensuring it stands out from the masses. If you have experience in resume writing, and are passionate about helping professionals through this service offering, we would like to connect. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a flexible, project based schedule with an innovative brand and HR organization.Responsibilities:

  • Provides and facilitates virtual consultation with resume clients to ensure a deep understanding about their work experience, education, strengths, skills and their short and long term goals.
  • The customization of an accurate, concise and appealing resume that aligns career highlights with their qualifications.
  • Constructs well laid out cover letters that strongly introduce the applicant and explain why they are qualified for the job in question.
  • Provide additional career coaching including interview prep, career consultation, LinkedIn review and refresh, and any followup tips and templates that help navigate post-application conversations.
  • Keen attention to detail to correct grammar and punctuation errors, ensuring that the resume and cover letters are formatted correctly and checking for any inconsistencies.
Requirements:
  • A completed CRS certification (Certified Resume Strategist) preferred
  • Excellent proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in relationship building and an active listener
  • High attention for detail and ability to present information in a concise manner
  • 2-4 years minimum experience in writing professional resumes
