Project supervisors:Dr. Lesley Pritchard, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine.Dr. Sandy Thompson-Hodgetts, Associate Professor, Department of Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine.Submit all questions, cover letter, and resume to engagestudy@ualberta.ca . Duties

  • Manage weekly research operations, ensuring that all aspects of the protocol are adhered to.
  • Manage and coordinate the research project across multiple sites in Alberta and with multiple occupational therapists, physical therapists and study assessors.
  • Maintain an electronic database to track all phases of the project (training, recruitment, budget, assessments, interventions, and interviews).
  • Report to the PIs in a weekly meeting.
  • Assist with ethics and budget renewal applications.
  • Prepare research study materials.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate degree or current graduate student.
  • Relevant experience with working with families and children with disability.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and reliability are essential.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed coordinating skills to frequently arrange meetings and assessments with therapists and study participants.
