Main responsibilitiesTalent Acquisition :
  • Lead the complete recruitment and selection cycle, and promote Courchesne Larose opportunities including each step of the recruitment process (internal and external posting, phone interview, selection interview, various selection tests, coordination for background check, offer to candidate, benefits);
  • Identify the best talent attraction strategies in line with Groupe Courchesne Larose #39;s orientations, using websites, various technological platforms, social networks and events;
  • Increase the organization #39;s visibility by participating in recruitment fairs and/or events in order to arouse the interest of candidates and increase our candidate pool;
  • Optimize HR practices in terms of talent acquisition and management, in a unionized and non-unionized context, including the referral program;
  • Coordinate the application process for temporary foreign workers for all Courchesne Larose companies, and the process of welcoming and integrating these workers with the Coordinator, Foreign Workers.
Talent development :
  • Assess potential and build development plans using the Successfinder tool;
  • Contribute to the development of career advancement paths within the organization.
Miscellaneous :
  • Hold weekly meetings with managers to follow up on positions to be filled, update manpower requirements;
  • Produce performance indicators every period;
  • Manage relations with local recruitment agencies, CEGEPs and universities and other establishments required for the position;
  • Staffing agencies: Ensure contract management and compliance of staffing agencies used throughout the group, in collaboration with accounting. Follow-up with managers on the hiring of agency employees who have been assigned to our workplaces for 6 months;
  • Organize and lead training sessions for managers on the recruitment and selection process, and provide them with the tools to make them more effective.
Qualifications and requirements:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in human resources, industrial relations or human resources administration option;
  • 5 to 8 years in a similar position with mastery of the full recruitment cycle for mass, specialized or critical positions;
  • Experience in using a candidate management system (e.g. Taleo, CV Manager, Neuvoo...);
  • Excellent knowledge of the use of social networks for talent attraction and employer branding;
  • Experience in immigration and temporary foreign worker applications;
  • Good knowledge of the Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Excellent command of French and English (oral and written);
  • Canadian (outside Quebec) or American work experience would be an asset;
  • Very good knowledge of legislation applicable to human resources management, in particular the Act respecting labour standards, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Privacy Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in several talent acquisition and management initiatives;
  • Political, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Autonomy, flexibility, curiosity and team player;
  • Excellent sense of organization and priorities;
  • Professional designation from the Ordre des CRHA (asset).
